TH LINK EtherNet/IP

EtherNet/IP Network Diagnostics Independent from Controller and Control Room

This device from Softing can be rail mounted in your panel to monitor/capture events on your Ethernet network.

The TH LINK EtherNet/IP diagnostics tool makes use of a controller-independent access to monitor EtherNet/IP networks. The diagnostic data is collected in networks comprising up to 254 nodes, and made available to users through the TH SCOPE software application. TH LINK EtherNet/IP is easy to use and can be integrated without interfering with the operation of existing installations.

Independent Access to EtherNet/IP Network

  • Controller-independent
  • Independent of configuration tools
  • Only one tool needed to monitor multiple IP subnetworks (up to 254 nodes, one or more controllers)

Designed for Installation without Interference with Plant Operation

  • Connection to free port in EtherNet/IP network, also possible during operation of the plant
  • No need to install TAPs or use mirror ports
  • Highest security (separate accesses for control room level and plant level, no routing)
  • Easy integration into existing plants thanks to compact design

Powerful Data Collection Capabilities Optimized for EtherNet/IP

  • Collection from EtherNet/IP devices and other nodes (e.g. PCs or camera systems)
  • Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) enabled
  • Combination of active and passive measurements
  • Limitation of network load

Optimized for Use by Maintenance Engineers

  • Suitable for network acceptance testing, continuous monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Easy and intuitive handling and operation
